some strangers are meant to be

np. Say Lou Lou - Angels (Above Me)

I really have problems deciding what stuff to put here, what to put on videos and what to put on instagram >____<' I don't what to stop posting here either, but I haven't had much inspiration lately. There is a lot of photos, but everything seems so random that I can't figure our how to make consistent post out of them.

The weather has also been so bad that maybe that's also why I lack inspiration. It's so cold (also inside the apartment) and rainy that I just want to stay at home and watch Pretty Little Liars.....

On top of everything, my foot has been hurting for a week, so that + bad weather = I just wanna wear comfortable clothes -> no cool outfits -___-' Okay, we managed to shoot one decent outfit few days ago, so that's what I've got to show you now.

So the shoes and the cardigan are new! The cardigan was already on my last post, but 'cause it's so comfy, I end up wearing it almost every day. The brand is T/gray - the shop is full of only grey, black and white clothes, so I think the style fits me perfectly 'cause I rarely want to wear any colors. Lipstick is a different story though - I really want to buy new bright colors!

I really love my new Vans shoes. I was thinking about buying cheap platform sneakers, but ended up buying these expensive ones instead 'cause I really fell in love with the grey washed up color. I think these can be worn with everything.

Also the ring on my little finger is new - nothing special, but I really want to buy more simple REAL silver rings, 'cause I'm fed up with cheap fake ones that make your fingers green after wearing them just once. Necklace is cheap H&M quality though, 'cause I really wanted to buy something from their Coachella-line, so I bought a pack of 6 cool necklaces. I bought one other item as well, but I would have liked to buy much more items but it's so expensive here! H&M clothes can be even 10€ more expensive here than in Finland... I'm waiting for sales..........

blossoms in Korea

Cherry (and other) blossoms, one outfit and a new video, yay!

I'm actually really active now on instagram, because editing photos with my ipad is so easy. I really hate editing photos with this laptop that I have here, because the screen is so poor. The colors are so wrong and everything looks like shit........ But I have posted too many cherry blossom photos on instagram already, so I think I should spam the rest here, haha. I just hope you like flowers!

Here is one outfit from last week! The cardigan and the dress are bought from here, so they are both new. I'd like to post more looks on lookbook and here, but lately the weather hasn't been that good for taking photos.

And FINALLY here is our first _decent vlog from South Korea. It's in Finnish but there will be English subtitles coming up later if you are interested!

So if you have any suggestion about video topics, please leave a comment! :3

accidents happen

Hello blog, long time no see! These two weeks after the last post have been extremely busy and so much has happened. Last week was actually really bad for me, because there was an accident involving my camera and the ground. It wasn't my fault though, 'cause the zipper of my backpack opened on it's own when I was walking down the hill from school...Anyway, my 50mm lens broke, but now it's fixed. I still need to repair the top settings display from my camera, but I'm gonna wait a while to do that because the cherry blossom season is coming up and I can't be apart from my camera for 2 or 3 days.

Also school has been quite stressful at times, so I'm planning to quit my Korean language course because it's too difficult for me. I could write million things that are wrong with the course and the way of teaching, but I think I should just forget about the course now. I think I feel a lot happier here without the course and I can use the extra time to study with my Korean friends. So no more evening classes, yay!

Oh, should I post some photos? There's not as many photos as I wish there would be and also the videos have been on hold because of the camera accident. Yesterday I shot the apartment introduction video, so it should be up on our channel quite soon. Anyway, now to the photos that have been taken near the Gwangan bridge and Gwangalli beach!

Jagalchi market & youtube channel

Videosta puheen ollen, me mietittiin meijän youtube kanavan nimeä varmaan kaks viikkoa...

Oottakaahan vaan kunhan ehin tulla kertomaan täkäläisestä koulunkäynnistä :') Nyt kuitenkin siis kuvia Jagalchin kalatorilta, joka on siis Korean suurin kalatori, hyrr. Indonesialaiset kaverini tosiaan innostuivan tuolla reissulla syömään vielä lautasellakin liikkuvaa mustekalaa...

Time goes fast! I want to update more here in Korea, but it takes time also to settle down in a new country. About one week ago we visited Jagalchi market, which is the biggest fish market in South Korea. Maybe some of these photos are quite disgusting, but I hope when the weather get's warmer I'll be able to take more interesting photos. So this will not turn into a food/travel photo blog - I promise I'll have more style related stuff coming in the future!

서면 (Seomyeon)

Kaikki kuvat on siis otettu Seomyeonissa, joka on siis ihan viiden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä meijän kämpästä, niinku taisin edellisessä postauksessa jo mainita. Tykätään kyllä paikasta ihan hulluna, sillä täälä ei oo paljon länkkäreitä vaikka muuten ihmisiä kyllä riittääkin mihin aikaan päivästä tai yöstä tahansa. Näköjään en tajunnu eilen ottaa yhtään kuvia, missä näkys kuinka paljon ihmisiä tuolla oikeesti on, mutta ehkä ens kerralla sitten!

English translation:
Yeah, I think the first videos will be up today or tomorrow, but before that I have some photos! Yesterday was a bit more warm than the days before that, so we took the first successful outfit photos for me :') Actually I was also wearing a warm black coat, but I only have on coat here so if I wore it in the photos, I think it would look like I'm wearing the same clothes every day.. Actually that is almost true, because I didn't bring that many clothes with me from Finland. The good thing is that there is everything a girl could ever wish for in the shops, so I don't have to worry about not finding new clothes..

Anyway, all of these photos were taken in Seomyon, which is really busy place near our apartment as I told you in the last post. There is always a lot of people on the streets and in some places the music is really loud all the time. Somehow I managed not to take any photos that actually show how many people there are, but maybe next time I'll try to capture that!

from Seoul to Busan

Time to spam some photos! I have no clue about quality and colors, because this was the first time using the laptop I got from school to edit photos.

Anyway, maybe I should explain a bit how was our travel first from Oulu to Helsinki, then to Seoul and finally to Busan? We tried to leave Oulu early in the morning on last Thursday but things didn't really go as planned! First our flight was delayed for 3 hours and then they announced that it's cancelled.......

We freaked out really badly, 'cause all other flights to Helsinki that day were sold out. We were about to miss our flight to Seoul at that point. Luckily we realised we could go to Kemi and fly from there to Helsinki. The tickets cost over 300€, but we didn't have any other choice. Fortunately there were some other students who were also going to Seoul and they were able to arrange a small bus for us all to drive to Kemi. So we flew from Kemi to Helsinki and managed to get ou our plane to Seoul on time!

On Friday we were super tired and didn't do much but then on Saturday we had our welcome party and my birthday celebration with our Korean friends who have been studying in Oulu before. My friend Minhee even made me a cake! I think there are places in Korea where you can buy a cake and decorate it by yourself at the shop ;)

On Sunday we said bye bye to Seoul and took a train to Busan!

Last photo has been taken from our apartment on the 14th floor :') There is actually a mountain, but I'm not sure you can see it, but at least you can see the lights at the top of the mountain! We live in Jeonpo which is right next to Seomyeon, so in just 10 minutes we can walk to this huge shopping/eating/drinking area! If our apartment was on the other side of the building, we could see it from the windows. There are not many foreigners here - we have been out two nights in a row and maybe we have seen 10 foreigners so I think this is a really good place to be!

Now I'm gonna start editing our first videos, so stay tuned and I'll tell you we our channel is up on youtube!
